Copper and tin, poured hot.

Bronze is copper alloyed with tin, the metal hard enough to name an age. In An Tine it holds the deepest tone of the metals, between Midas Touch and Molten Copper.

On the canvas it reads as old metal under lamplight, bronze shading to umber at the edges. The drop lands with a sharp breath, and a dark, burnished warmth follows.

The wax runs viscous and deliberate, setting with a patina sheen over the curves. It comes away in casts once the scene is over.

For the Scene Artist who likes their metal with some age on it.

How to Use:

Light the candle. Once the wax starts to melt around the base of the wick, tip parallel and test the first drops on your own forearm before the canvas. Avoid inverting the candle, hold parallel to the canvas and rotate in the hand to melt wax evenly. Height controls temperature. Higher is cooler, lower is hotter. Build from there, one deliberate drop at a time.

Metallic finishes run warmer than standard paraffin, the mica in the pigment holds extra heat. Watch the wick while it burns. If it stops burning down with the candle, put it out and trim the wick before relighting.

Safety:

Formulated for wax play. Keep away from eyes, face, broken skin and hair. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Trim the wick between sessions. Consent and communication before the first drop, always.

Paraffin retains heat longer than soy. Never let it pool on the skin, as pooled wax can run significantly hotter than the stated melting point and risks burns.
