Custom Commissions

Commission Requests

  • All custom commission requests must be submitted through the designated form - https://forms.gle/JV86i9cyB4UnsrLRA which should include as much detail as possible. In addition, you may also email info@collaredfoxy.com with photos of potential colour schemes and ideas, although we cannot copy exact designs of other makers.

  • If you are looking for more than one flogger and Dragon’s Tail with different colour schemes, please submit the form twice. 

  • We will endeavour to provide you a quote or request more information within one week of submission of an enquiry.

  • All pricing quoted is non-negotiable.

  • Quotes will be sent as “Draft Invoices”

  • We reserve the right to refuse to quote on custom work, should we feel that our values and expectations do not align.

Deposits and Payment Terms

  • A $100 deposit is required to commence work on all custom commissions. This is non-negotiable and non-refundable, except in the rare instance that the creator is unable to fulfil the order. 

  • The balance must be paid within 14 days of completion unless prior arrangements are made. If the balance is not paid within 14 days and no prior arrangements are made, the deposit and the commission piece will be forfeited. No orders will be posted or handed over until paid. Collared Foxy owns the custom piece until such time as it is paid in full. The creator may sell the piece to recoup costs for time and materials at a price that they see fit.

  • For commissions requiring imported or exotic leathers (e.g. deer, bison/buffalo, elk, moose or crocodile leather), 50% of the quoted value must be paid upon acceptance of the quote.

  • No refunds will be given for a change of mind on custom pieces. Whilst every effort is made to send as many pictures as possible, it is difficult to correctly photograph colours and features of leather.

  • International customers are responsible for payment of customs and taxes associated with their country.

  • If extra insurance cover is required for shipping, there will be a fee associated. Please specify in the notes if this is required.

  • Payment options are Shopify payments, Bank Transfer, PayPal and Afterpay (please note that Afterpay do not require the $100 deposit up front)

Lead Times

  • Estimated lead times will be communicated before the quote is accepted.

  • Lead times may vary if specific colors are requested that are not in stock, if samples are required or if leather must be imported.

  • Lead times do not include shipping times

Design Revisions

  • Revisions of the original design after purchase of materials will incur additional fees.

  • We are unable to revise the design after construction has commenced. 

Leather Availability and Types

  • Leather and suede tannages can vary significantly and are often one-of-a-kind hides.

  • While every effort will be made to fulfill your requests, availability of certain colors and materials cannot be guaranteed.

  • Exotic leathers such as bison/buffalo, deer, elk/moose must be imported and require extra lead time. They are generally only available in black, with the exception of deer.

  • The majority of handles are made with kangaroo lacing, which is incredibly tough and not prone to stretching, however, all care must be taken by the user when using to avoid scratching the metallic foil if metallics or shimmers are selected.

Craftsmanship Warranty

  • Collared Foxy will ensure each piece is crafted with care and attention to detail, as close to your specifications as possible, however natural variations in hides are inherent and add to the unique quality of each item, and colours and tannages vary from hide to hide and within each hide.

  • All Foxy Floggers and Dragon’s Tails are covered by a lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship, ensuring they are free from material and manufacturing flaws, with the exception of natural variation within hides. This warranty is subject to fair use and fitness for purpose, meaning that the product must be used appropriately and within its intended scope. If you intend to engage in heavy impact play, we strongly advise you to tell us in the quotation form and we will assist you in selecting robust leather to ensure durability and performance.

  • This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, improper storage, exposure to conditions such as excessive heat, sunlight, moisture, chemicals exposure, or modifications made after purchase. Any damage resulting from use beyond the product’s intended purpose will not be covered.

  • For best results and to maintain your product’s longevity, please refer to our Care Guide, which provides essential information on proper maintenance and storage. If you believe your product has a defect covered under this warranty, please contact us with proof of purchase and details of the issue for evaluation.

  • We reserve the right to repair or replace defective items at our discretion. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
